INTERPHASE

SOLO VII

JUN 10 - JUN 11, 2026

COLLECT INTERPHASE

OPENING NIGHT

INTERPHASE emerges from the tension between human and machine identity, organic and mechanical processes, artificial and human intelligence. The title refers to the interchange between these conditions – once understood as distinct states, now increasingly inseparable from one another. The subtle languages of human interaction and the encoded logic of technological systems continuously shape each other, often with consequences that remain unclear.

Using human recordings and infinitely generative processes, each work functions as an active system rather than a finished object. These evolving artworks propose a new interface for experiencing and collecting portraiture, while marking a moment in which notions of identity – and the surveillance thereof – are thrown into deeper concern by rapid technological advancement.

Created by Ksawery Komputery and presented by Heft, INTERPHASE combines algorithms, live surveillance, custom electronics, and computational systems as a contemporary update to the earliest digital portraits. The exhibition presents these works as both artifacts and agents: living portraits that reflect the increasingly blurred boundary between human presence and machine perception.
